This sale, which includes spare parts and modernization services, will be carried out through RTX Corporation and Lockheed Martin. The State Department has notified Congress about this sale, emphasizing that it will support U.S. foreign policy and strengthen Ukraine's security. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has requested an additional 25 Patriot systems to counter Russian attacks. In the context of current tensions, Zelensky will travel to Turkey to resume peace talks with Russia, while bombings of Ukrainian energy infrastructure continue.
