Dmitri Peskov, the spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated that there are no updates regarding a peace plan for Ukraine, aside from the discussions held between Presidents Trump and Putin in Alaska. This statement came in response to journalists' questions about a 'new peace plan' that the American administration would be developing, according to the publication Axios.

The American plan, which would contain 28 points, is inspired by the recent ceasefire in Gaza and addresses themes such as peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, and future relations between the U.S., Moscow, and Kiev. Although a Russian official expressed optimism about the plan, it remains unclear how it will be perceived by Ukraine and its European supporters, especially in the context of the controversial issues related to territorial control in eastern Ukraine.
