The Chinese humanoid robot AgiBot A2 has been included in the Guinness World Records after walking 106,286 km in three days, setting a new world record. Standing 169 cm tall, AgiBot A2 began its journey in Suzhou on November 10 and reached the Bund district in Shanghai on November 13, adhering to the traffic code along the route.
The company AgiBot, which developed the robot, highlighted that it traversed various types of surfaces. AgiBot A2 is equipped with advanced human interaction features, including conversation capabilities and speech understanding. The Chinese government supports the development of humanoid robots, aiming to become a world leader in this field, and investments in artificial intelligence continue to grow. Beijing recently hosted the World Humanoid Robot Games, showcasing advancements in this sector.
