The National Public Health Center of Hungary has announced that air quality has reached 'dangerous' levels in several areas, due to the high concentration of suspended dust particles. According to recent measurements, the cities of Debrecen and Bekescsaba fall into this risk category. Other localities, such as Nyiregyhaza, Sajoszentpeter, and Putnok, have been classified with 'unhealthy' air quality.

Additionally, air quality is considered 'poor' in numerous other areas, including the capital Budapest, Miskolc, Kazincbarcika, Eger, Esztergom, Tatabanya, Szekesfehervar, Varpalota, Ajka, Gyor, Mosonmagyarovar, Szentgotthard, Pecs, and Kaposvar. This information highlights a public health issue affecting a large part of the country.
