Sorawong Thienthong, Thailand's Minister of Tourism and Sports, plans to ask the Cabinet for a 700 million baht budget to attract at least 200,000 foreign tourists. The initiative includes international flight offers and free domestic flights in collaboration with six airlines. The aim is to encourage visitors to explore lesser-known destinations, including UNESCO-designated cities. Tourists who buy international tickets will receive free tickets for domestic flights and a 20kg baggage allowance.
