The police in Hungary is investigating terrorist threats, without finding explosives. In Ukraine, over 2,000 bomb alerts have been received, most of them false.

The Hajdu-Bihar County Police launched an investigation after receiving threats of committing a terrorist act, suspecting that the emails were sent from the same device. Authorities searched the targeted institutions but did not find explosives in the initial phase of the checks. Subsequently, the Hungarian police confirmed that they had completed checks at all threatened schools and public institutions without discovering explosives. In the event of new threats, the police are prepared to respond promptly.

At the same time, the Ukrainian police reported receiving over 2,000 bomb alerts, targeting various buildings, including state institutions and entertainment venues. Previous alerts, which turned out to be false, affected schools in Kyiv at the beginning of the school year in September 2023, leading to checks at hundreds of institutions.
