Thailand has accused Cambodia of violating the ceasefire agreement, concluded to end recent border clashes. Although the Thai army declared a ceasefire, it continued to come under attack from Cambodian forces. Despite the allegations, meetings between local commanders have been held to discuss observing the ceasefire. Tensions have increased following earlier violent incidents, and both countries have imposed border restrictions.
