Israeli airstrikes on fuel depots and refineries in Tehran have led to massive fires and the formation of a toxic smoke cloud that has covered the Iranian capital. In the context of escalating conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran, the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters of the Iranian armed forces has warned that Iran could strike oil infrastructure in the region if the bombings continue.
The military command emphasized that, if attacks on the Iranian energy sector do not stop, Iran will respond with similar actions. In recent days, Iran has launched rockets and drones against Israel, while the Israeli army has carried out airstrikes on targets in Iran, including ammunition bunkers and the headquarters of the Iranian space forces. The toll of the attacks has resulted in over 1,300 deaths in Iran and ten casualties in Israel.
