A 20-year-old managed to escape on Friday from a prison near Lyon by hiding in the bag of his cellmate, who was about to be released. The young man, who is serving multiple sentences, is the subject of an arrest warrant for organized crime. The public prosecutor's office in Lyon has opened an investigation for organized gang escape and criminal conspiracy, and the prison administration will initiate disciplinary measures and an internal investigation to clarify the circumstances of the escape.
