Spanish authorities have discovered 4.8 tons of cocaine in a container of bananas in Ecuador, the biggest seizure in the country's history.

The cocaine was found in a container that had left the port of Guayaquil and was destined for a Spanish importer. This is the biggest ever seizure in the history of drug trafficking in Spain, and the second biggest in Europe in a single container. The drugs were hidden in packages among crates of bananas to avoid detection.
