Spain's Defense Ministry has decided not to continue a $325 million deal with Israeli company Rafael for Spike anti-tank missiles, finalized before the Gaza conflict. The measure is part of a strategy of 'technological disconnection' from the Israeli military industry, mentioned by the Undersecretary of State for Defense, Amparo Valcarce. The aim is to lessen dependence on Israel, in line with a draft law that provides for an arms embargo on states accused of crimes against humanity.
