Fico said he had managed to secure gas supplies to Slovakia without increasing gas prices after Ukraine stopped the transit of Russian gas. He accused Kiev of harming Slovakia by not extending the transit agreement for Russian gas. Stopping gas transit through Ukraine has caused Slovakia to receive gas through Hungary.
