UK car production fell by almost a third in November 2024 to its lowest level since 1980.

The number of cars produced in the UK fell significantly in November 2024, reaching its lowest monthly level since 1980. This decline is attributed to disruptions in the industry and weak consumer demand. Electric vehicle production was the worst affected, falling 45.5% year-on-year.
