The European Commission has notified Shein for commercial practices in breach of EU consumer protection laws, including false discounts and misleading information

<p>Following a coordinated EU-wide investigation, Shein has been notified by the CPC Network for breaches of EU consumer protection laws. Among the issues raised were false discounts, pressure selling and misleading product information. Shein must respond within one month and propose solutions to remedy the irregularities. If they fail to comply, national authorities can impose fines.
