<p>Shein, the e-commerce retailer, has announced it will carry out 2.5 million product quality and safety tests this year, following warnings from the European Commission about non-compliant business practices. The investigation uncovered problems such as false discounts and misleading information. Shein has one month to respond to the CPC Network's findings, and non-compliance can lead to fines based on EU turnover. The company has stopped working with 540 retailers as a result of the problems.
