Shein to step up product testing to address EU safety fears after being notified by the European Commission for misleading commercial practices

The investigation uncovered problems such as false discounts and misleading information. Shein has one month to respond to the CPC Network's findings, and non-compliance can lead to fines based on EU turnover. The company has stopped working with 540 retailers as a result of the problems.
