ISEL, the company that sells Shein products in France, has been fined €40 million by the DGCCRF for misleading commercial practices. The investigation found that Shein misled consumers about price cuts, circumventing regulations by ignoring previous promotions or artificially raising prices. Shein said it remedied these violations after being notified, implementing corrective measures within two months.
