At the end of December, shamans from Peru gathered for the annual New Year ritual, during which they made predictions for the year 2026. Among these, Donald Trump is expected to become seriously ill, and Nicolas Maduro will leave power in Venezuela.

Juan de Dios Garcia, a participating shaman, emphasized that the United States should prepare for Trump's health issues. Additionally, the shamans predicted that the war in Ukraine will come to an end, and the peace flag will be raised. Furthermore, they anticipated Keiko Fujimori's victory in the presidential elections in Peru, after three previous attempts. The ritual included prayers, dances, and the consumption of hallucinogenic plants, aimed at influencing the leaders' decisions. Possible natural disasters, such as earthquakes and extreme weather phenomena, were also mentioned.
