Sebastian Hotz, known as 'El Hotzo', has been acquitted by a Berlin court for a satirical post on the X-network, in which he alluded to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Although prosecutors had demanded a fine of €6,000, the court ruled that his posts did not incite violence and were clearly satirical. The judge emphasized that such expressions could not incite violent acts. The German Journalists' Association criticized the lawsuit as disproportionate, while the public broadcaster RBB broke off its collaboration with Hotz after the incident.
