Belgian and French police on Wednesday morning carried out a series of simultaneous raids on offices at the European Parliament (EP) headquarters in Brussels and Strasbourg, as well as at the home of a parliamentary aide in the Schaerbeek district of Brussels, accused by Belgian prosecutors of playing a "significant" role in a Russian propaganda operation in the EP.
