As the conflict in Ukraine escalates, Russia has issued a stern warning to states supplying offensive weapons to Ukraine, including Romania. Moscow says the supplied weapons could become targets for Russian forces. The statements come against the backdrop of Donald Trump's announcement of possible additional sanctions and drastic tariffs on Russia. Germany is to deliver Patriot systems to Ukraine, increasing pressure on Vladimir Putin to negotiate peace. Ukraine is also working with the US to develop its military industry.
