The Russian Defense Ministry has reported the capture of two villages in the Donetsk region, Mikolaivka and Mirne, in the last two days. The Russian offensive on Ukraine, which has been going on for almost three and a half years, has been stepped up this summer, with no significant results in US-led negotiations to stop the conflict. The capture of these villages reflects continued Russian attacks in the area.
