Russian military journalist Evgeny Poddubny declared that an important military transport was destroyed in the Yuzhny port of Odesa, the area still engulfed in flames. According to him, the cargo came from Romania, but no details were provided about the nature of the transport, leaving unclear whether it was military equipment or some other type of logistical aid. The information has not been confirmed by Ukrainian authorities or independent sources, and Kyiv has not officially reacted to the attack. The Yuzhny port, a frequent target of Russian attacks, is crucial for Ukraine's export infrastructure and for the delivery of Western equipment. Previously, the Russian army also attacked other areas near the port, targeting port infrastructure.
