The Royal Society has raised concerns about 2018 Fellow Elon Musk's behavior, suggesting he should resign if he can't help fight the Trump administration's attacks on science. President Sir Adrian Smith relayed that Musk had not responded to letters asking him to intervene to stop the damage to research. While some members called for disciplinary action, others feared it could damage the standing of other controversial members. Musk remains a member of the Royal Society, but has not addressed the suggestion of resignation.
