Romania will benefit from 64 AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II missiles, part of an acquisition that also includes guidance units, containers, and logistical support. These advanced technology missiles are intended for F-35 aircraft and will strengthen NATO's security. The transaction, managed by RTX Corporation, will not change the military balance in the region, and any offset agreement will be negotiated between the buyer and the contractor.
