A devastating ballistic missile attack carried out by Russia on the Odesa region has resulted in the death of seven people and the injury of another 15, according to local governor Oleg Kiper. The missiles targeted port infrastructures, also causing a fire in a nearby truck parking lot. Among the victims were people on a bus located in the epicenter of the attack. Odesa has frequently been the target of Russian attacks, which have led to power outages and a lack of water for residents. A day earlier, a drone attack damaged an important bridge, prompting Moldova to close nearby border crossing points. Governor Kiper emphasized that, despite the ongoing bombardments, authorities are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of citizens and the functioning of transport.
