Armed robbery of an armored van on a highway in Reggio Calabria, Italy

A robbery took place on Monday morning on the highway in the province of Reggio Calabria, where a group of at least ten people attacked an armored van belonging to the company Sicurtransport. The thieves acted with military precision: they set fire to two cars to block traffic, used explosives to stop the vehicle, and fired weapons with Kalashnikov machine guns and shotguns, simultaneously spreading nails on the roadway. The attack, carried out in just a few minutes, resulted in an estimated damage of around two million euros. No one was injured.
