Three thieves robbed the house of a businessman in Naples, stealing jewelry and a 26-carat diamond.

Three thieves committed a robbery in the luxury neighborhood of Posillipo in Naples, stealing goods worth nearly 500,000 euros, including a 26-carat diamond. The victims, a 71-year-old businessman, his wife, and their maid, woke up feeling dizzy in the morning, suspecting they had been drugged by the criminals. The apartment was in disarray, with drawers and closets ransacked, and the thieves managed to leave with jewelry, money, and silverware.

The investigation has been taken over by the Posillipo police, who obtained surveillance footage and interrogated the victims. The thieves acted professionally, removing the internal security cameras and leaving few traces. The alarm system was not activated, and the victims did not hear anything during the night. Authorities are now analyzing surveillance cameras in the area to identify the vehicle used by the thieves.
