Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the last Shah of Iran, has declared that he is ready to lead the country as soon as the Islamic Republic falls. He is working on forming a 'transitional system' to take over governance after the current regime collapses. Pahlavi, who lives in the United States, announced that he is selecting competent individuals from both inside and outside Iran to be part of this system. In his message, he emphasized that this body will be ready to ensure order and prosperity for the country. The selection process is also being led by Saeed Ghasseminejad, an advisor on Iranian issues at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Pahlavi has failed to gain the support of American President Donald Trump, who has expressed skepticism about his ability to lead Iran. Trump suggested that an internal solution might be more effective, similar to the situation in Venezuela.
