Revolut will implement significant changes to the terms and conditions of use of its accounts, effective September 4, 2025. These changes include the introduction of smart direct debit payments, which allow balances in other currencies to be used in the event of insufficient funds. The bank will also be able to suspend or close accounts at the request of the authorities. Customers will have to replenish their account in case of negative balances, and the changes will be free of foreign exchange fees. If they disagree with the new terms, customers can close the account free of charge until the deadline.
