<p>Syrian rebels, under the leadership of Hay'et Tahrir al-Sham, have managed to seize control of large parts of Aleppo, including the international airport, following a surprise offensive. President Bashar al-Assad's forces retreated as the rebels advanced. The situation has raised concern in Israel, which is closely monitoring developments in Syria.
