Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic, had a serious incident during his vacation in Bodrum, Turkey, where he nearly drowned. After he fell into the water and began to lose consciousness, Coast Guard officers and hotel staff intervened quickly, giving him first aid before he was transported to a private clinic. His condition was later stabilized and the Chechen authorities have not issued an official statement.
