The Ministry of Transport of Qatar announced on Saturday the complete resumption of maritime navigation activities, starting from Sunday, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. This decision applies to all categories of maritime vessels and modes of transport, according to a statement from the ministry.

Authorities urged operators to adhere to established safety protocols. However, it was not immediately clear whether this decision allows Qatari vessels to transit the Strait of Hormuz, which has been effectively closed until now. The resumption of navigation could significantly influence maritime transport in the region, considering the strategic importance of this maritime route.
