Kirill Dmitriev, the special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, where he will have meetings with members of the US delegation. Ukraine's negotiator, Rustem Umerov, confirmed that discussions with American officials regarding the resolution of the conflict with Russia will continue at this forum. American President Donald Trump will be present at the meeting, accompanied by a large delegation.
The Kremlin is preparing to receive Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, in Moscow for peace talks related to Ukraine, but the date has not been set. Dmitriev has already had discussions in the US with Witkoff and Kushner, which were considered productive. Trump recently stated that Ukraine is blocking a potential peace agreement, a claim that contradicts the position of European leaders.
