The Moscow court declared the anti-Kremlin punk group 'Pussy Riot' an extremist organization, banning its activities in Russia at the request of the General Prosecutor's Office. This ruling comes after five members of the group were sentenced to prison terms of up to 13 years for spreading false information about the Russian army. The group members, labeled as 'foreign agents', rejected the accusations, considering them politically motivated.

'Pussy Riot' gained international notoriety in 2012 after a protest against President Vladimir Putin, and it has become a symbol of opposition to the Kremlin regime. Nadia Tolokonnikova, the group's founder, challenged the court's decision, stating that if telling the truth is extremism, then they are proud to be considered extremists.
