The cruise ship Crown Iris, operated by the Israeli company Mano Cruise, was forced to leave the port of Syros island without allowing tourists to disembark due to massive protests against the war in Gaza. The protesters, waving Palestinian flags and carrying placards with messages such as "Stop genocide", shouted slogans on the quay. Although no violent incidents were reported, the airline decided to sail to another destination for passenger safety. The Israeli foreign minister discussed the incident with his Greek counterpart, but no further details were given.
