Protesters threw smoke bombs and caused altercations in the stands, which led the Philharmonic management to firmly disapprove of the incidents and announce that it would file a complaint. Since the announcement of the concert, the Philharmonic has been the subject of intense criticism due to the tensions in Gaza. The president of Crif (Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France) called for sanctions for disruptions, emphasizing that violence cannot be justified. Although there were calls to cancel the concert, the Philharmonic decided to maintain it, arguing that artists should not be held accountable for the actions of governments.
