Stellantis and Aston Martin have issued profit warnings amid strong competition from Chinese manufacturers.

The warnings come amid stiff competition from Chinese manufacturers offering cheaper electric vehicles. Stellantis forecasts a decline in adjusted operating margin for 2024, and Aston Martin has lowered its wholesale volume target for this year. European manufacturers are also hurt by weaker demand from China and supply chain problems.
