Pro-Ukrainian partisans from the Atesh group have announced the destruction of a vehicle used by the Chechen Ahmat unit in the occupied city of Mariupol, posting pictures of the burning vehicle on Telegram. The operation, which took place overnight, was carried out without injuries to the partisans. Atesh, known for sabotage attacks, has carried out other actions in Russia and the occupied regions, including sabotaging railroads to disrupt supplies to the Russian front. Mariupol was besieged by Russian forces between February and May 2022, with thousands of casualties.
