Prince Harry, involved in a legal battle with British tabloids, will testify on January 22 before the High Court in London, as part of his lawsuit against the group Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), the publisher of the Daily Mail. Alongside him, other public figures, including Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley, accuse ANL of illegally obtaining information about their private lives, through methods such as installing listening devices and paying police officers for confidential information, during the period from 1993-2011 and 2018.

The trial will last approximately nine weeks, and Harry will participate in the first two days before giving his testimony. ANL denies the allegations, deeming them absurd. This is the second time Prince Harry is testifying before the courts, after previously securing several convictions against tabloids for violating the right to privacy.
