The tests will begin in the coming months in Luxembourg, where the European headquarters of Pony.ai is located, and starting next year, the two companies will implement a gradual program in several European cities. Pony.ai will provide the autonomous driving software, while Stellantis will supply the electric vehicles, starting with the Peugeot e-Traveller model. The large-scale implementation of robotaxis requires extensive testing on public roads to obtain the necessary safety approvals.
