Radoslaw Sikorski, the Polish Foreign Minister, raised an alarm regarding possible provocations from Russia, stating that Warsaw possesses information about Moscow's plans. During a conference alongside his French counterpart, Jean-Noel Barrot, Sikorski highlighted Russia's hostile activities, which include cyberattacks, sabotage, arson, and drone incidents.

Poland, a frontline NATO state and a crucial hub for military aid to Ukraine, warned that Russia might resort to hybrid operations to test the alliance without triggering an open war. Sikorski emphasized the risk of a false flag operation, comparing it to the Gleiwitz incident of 1939, and sent a clear message to Moscow: "We know what you are planning. Don't do it." The purpose of these warnings is to deter Russia from implementing provocations.
