Poland's Internal Security Agency arrested a 17-year-old suspected of preparing armed attacks against a school and a mosque

Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) has arrested a 17-year-old suspected of preparing large-scale armed attacks against a school and a mosque. The teenager, identified as Pawel G., was reportedly a sympathizer of Nazi ideology.

Following a search of his home, investigators seized knives, a bayonet, explosive materials, and items bearing fascist and Nazi symbols. An analysis of the suspect’s phones and computer reportedly revealed conversations about preparing mass attacks.

ABW announced that two other minors had recently been arrested in connection with the case. According to investigators, the three allegedly communicated with far-right activists on the Telegram and Discord platforms and studied the methods used by perpetrators of previous terrorist attacks.

Polish Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek said that the authorities would not tolerate fascism, hatred, or the planning of bloody attacks. Pawel G. denies the allegations but faces up to 15 years in prison if found guilty.
