Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Tuesday the formation of the 'Future Council', a new advisory body aimed at stimulating economic development and transforming Poland into a technological power.
The Council, led by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domanski, will have as its main objective the translation of scientific knowledge into economic growth. Tusk emphasized that Poland can become a leader in modern technologies. The Council will include 18 members, including scientists and entrepreneurs, and will collaborate with astronaut Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski. Poland has significantly increased investments in the aerospace sector, achieving notable milestones such as the launch of the EagleEye satellite.
The Council's first mission will be to identify regulatory barriers and propose solutions to simplify administrative procedures for technology companies.
