The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces announced the mobilization of its own and allied aircraft to ensure the security of the airspace, following threats from drones from Ukraine. The airport in Lublin was closed as a preventive measure, just a few days after Poland shot down Russian drones on its territory. Although no violations of airspace have been reported, Poland has been targeted by drones during Russian attacks on Ukraine, and Russia has denied any accusations regarding targeting Poland.
