In the face of threats from Russia, Poland, with a defense budget of 4.7% of GDP, has drafted a 40-page guide to prepare its population for war or natural disasters. The guide, titled "Guide to Safety", will include recommendations such as how to procure drinking water and what to do in case of air strikes. The Polish authorities, including Prime Minister Donald Tusk, underline the importance of public awareness and preparedness in view of the possible risks of conflict in the region. The guide will also be available in English, Ukrainian and Braille.
