Poland has decided to develop SAN, the most advanced anti-drone system in Europe, in response to drone attacks from Russia. The system, created by a Polish-Norwegian consortium, will cost approximately 3.5 billion euros and will be financed through EU loans.

SAN will include 18 mobile batteries, equipped with sensors and weapons, which will patrol the borders of Poland and will integrate into national defense systems. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has promised a modern system capable of deploying interceptor drones and using guns and missiles. Although the project has faced political obstacles, the Polish government aims to complete deliveries within 24 months. SAN is seen as an important step towards strengthening European defense against drone threats.
