The Palestinian National Authority said Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition at a delegation of foreign diplomats, including from Romania, during a visit to Jenin. The incident was confirmed by an AFP journalist and the PNA foreign ministry condemned the attack as a serious violation of international law. The incident comes amid international pressure on Israel as it steps up its military campaign in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Foreign Ministry said external pressure would not affect Israel's security.
