Peter Magyar harshly criticizes the Orban government, accusing it of betraying the Hungarians in Transylvania by supporting George Simion.

Peter Magyar, the new leader of the Tisza party, held his first press conference on Monday after winning the elections in Hungary, launching a direct attack on former Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Magyar accused Orban of betraying Hungarians in the diaspora and Transylvania by supporting George Simion.

In his statements, he emphasized that 'history is not written in Moscow, Washington, or Brussels, but in Hungary,' criticizing Orban's legacy for ignoring the real issues facing citizens, such as education and health, in favor of discussions about international conflicts.

Magyar stated that 'the country has been taken by force by organized crime' and called for a regime change, asserting that Hungary will remain part of Europe.

Domestically, he announced that his party will have 139 seats in the new Parliament and urged the president, whom he called 'a puppet', to convene Parliament as soon as possible to form the new cabinet, emphasizing that 'the country has no time to lose'.
