A survey conducted by the American Chamber of Commerce in France shows that many American companies believe President Emmanuel Macron's efforts to transform France into a more attractive destination for investment are in danger.
According to the results, only 17% of the interviewed executives have a positive economic outlook for the coming years, and the majority believe that the reforms initiated since 2017 have been "canceled" by high costs, bureaucracy, and political instability. At the same time, 77% of respondents believe that Macron will not be able to adopt significant reforms by the end of his term.
