Pakistan has carried out a bombing on the fuel depot of the airline Kam Air, located near Kandahar airport, according to Taliban statements. This attack comes in the context of escalating conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, which has been marked by Pakistani airstrikes on militant strongholds, according to Islamabad.

The Taliban have denounced these actions as a violation of Afghan sovereignty and have promised retaliation. The attacks have also targeted civilian areas, including homes in Kabul, causing casualties among women and children. Although fighting along the border has recently decreased, tensions remain high, and mediation efforts from China have been mentioned as essential for calming the situation.
